Aman Gupta on Following Your Passion
About Project
This project is an intensive narrative exploration of Aman Gupta’s entrepreneurial journey. Moving beyond a standard interview format, the goal was to create a "Netflix-style" documentary experience. I handled the entire production pipeline, including the conceptualization of motion systems, sound design, and narrative pacing, to transform raw conversational footage into a high-retention masterpiece. This project was edited and designed for Midas Studio.

Challenges
Visual Cohesion: The biggest hurdle was creating a bridge between the low-energy interview setting and the high-octane energy of the boAt brand. I had to design custom motion assets (CitiBank, JBL, KPMG) that looked native to the video while ensuring they didn’t distract from Aman’s storytelling.
Pacing the “Ego”: Capturing Aman’s “obsessive” nature required a rhythmic edit. The challenge was using sound design and fast-cut motion to build tension during his talk about passion, then letting it “breathe” during the professional insights.
Auditory Layering: Since this was end-to-end sound design, I had to ensure the background score didn’t fight with the voiceover, using subtle foley and risers to emphasize his “Obsessive” mindset.
MY APPROACH
I didn't just add graphics for the sake of it. Every motion element—from the corporate logos to the "Follow Your Passion" banners—was rigorously storyboarded to act as a visual anchor for the viewer's attention. I utilized a bold, clean typography style that mirrors the "unSTARTED" and "boAt" branding, creating a unified visual identity for the entire clip. By managing everything from the initial cut to the final motion graphics and sound mix, I maintained total creative control, ensuring that the motion graphics felt "baked into" the video rather than just layered on top.
